Hi,

Can someone please explain Appeal Procedure for a finalised matter, where final rulings and reasoning have been made and the ICL has been dismissed. The Applicant in the matter, at the very end of the 28 day limit has lodged an appeal against the ruling.

Without any detail let's assume, as is the case, that the appeal is groundless and absolutely, unequivally will not be accepted, when does this decision take place?

To confirm, 27 days after the date of ruling the Applicant appealed, though has not officially served the respondent. We only know because we called the enquiry line. No material has been posted to us at the address supplied to the applicant by our lawyer. That aside, we have been told via the registry enquiy line that on a certain date very soon we are to appear via phone or in person at Court where the matter will be heard.

So our question is simple, what will be the outcome of this court date ? If this pointless angry gesture by the applicant is going to dismissed, when does it happen ? In a few days at this Family Court hearing or at some other deferred date in the future, just so the nightmare we have had to endure can continue.
