VIC Expunge My police record

In 2012 I went to court for unlawful assault. The outcome was proven but dismissed. This comes up on my police check. Is there any way of removing it sooner than 10 years?

So are you saying Tony Danos that I can't even apply after 10 years to have it removed? This would be contrary to other posts

I did not see the other posts. If you have been advised that records are expunged after 10 years then these people are wrong and they should be very careful before they offer (misleading) advice.
