Hi everyone,

My ex-wife wants to take my child overseas but I know she will not come back, that is why I said no, but it sound like she will do her best to take my child out of Australia.

What should I do under family law? My child age 3.5 years old.

Thanks

Rod

Get a lawyer asap. Go to court BEFORE any move happens. Urgent requests can be made in cases like this to prevent a child being taken overseas.

If you are concerned best take it to court. Urgently seek the child be listed on the watch list. Does the child have a passport already?
