My partner put an AVO on me, and the kids were named on it. Someone told her it would stop me getting 50/50 custody of children. After she went to police station and the police filed for it, she said we would get back together.

At court, I consented without admission to just get it out the way. 4 days ago, she told me that we have not been together since 1 month ago. So since the children are named on AVO there were no violence or charges just allegations, and definitely, none to my children or my stepchild, will that stop me getting 50/50 custody of children?

Does having the kids listed on the AVO stop me from going for my fair share of custody of children? We all still live under the same roof for now.

Thank you.

It was one month since court, too.

Can an avo from my ex-partner, who has listed my children on it, stop me from getting 50/50 of my children? There were no charges laid, just a fabricated story.
