My ex lied to me. The child is mine but later, we had arguments about money because she was asking for money by using the child, saying it's your child so buy me this and that. When I refused she is now accusing me with identity fraud and saying I'm not the father.

I had already signed the birth certificate, do you think I'm in trouble by law?

Just get it sorted once and for all and go to easyDNA website order a DNA kit. Test yourself the mother and child once and for all. Wait a few weeks for the results. It will set you back 3 to 4 hundred dollars. But then it's done.

As for being in trouble for signing the birth certificate, no you won't be. But your child's mother can take that birth certificate to Child Support and make you start paying Child Support for this child.
