I've recently decided to re-enter the workforce and have been rejected by ten or so employers. I have no doubt that it is because of my age. Well, I've just applied for a job, through an employment agency, for which I have exactly the qualifications required, in fact, just a few more, but not so many to be 'over qualified'. I'm perfectly qualified and suited for this job, but have no doubt that I'll be told that I'm not suitable. This isn't the sort of job where there are going to be so many applicants, appropriately qualified, that I'm going to be knocked out of the ring by the competition. My question is does anyone know of a good employment solicitor, as this time, if I get knocked back, I'd like to challenge the decision? Thank you.
