NSW Employment Law - Work on Fixed-Term Employment Contract at Age 55?

    Under Australian employment law, can an employee keep on working as a fixed term employment contract until the age of 55?

    Hi John,

    What is the length of your fixed term contract?
    A fixed term contract cannot be determined by an employee's age, that would more than likely breach employment law as age discrimination.
