Hi

I took out a DVO on my ex in July last year and I have been to 13 mentions and the hearing is set down in September.

My ex has been charged and convicted of willful damage but has also taken out a cross application. Today, I find out my ex's new partner has been sending the orders against me to agencies i deal with. Bank, Council, etc., along with a letter full of lies.

I am seeking any help in relation to this... Is it legal for them to do that?

Thanks

Rod

Not if the letter is full of lies. This is likely defamation.

Have your lawyer write a cease and desist letter.
