my partner had a police dvo put in place against me (no physical violence) for 5 years. The conditions are he can’t kive at the address listed. the prosecution won’t budge only allowing him to visit twice a week with no overnight stays, we were living together. Even the magistrate said it was harsh and we could take to trial. We don’t want to waste any more money and time!! It’s very stressful!! The conditions allow me to stay at his new residence whenever I like, but as we are getting married that isn’t a good option for the next 5 years, My question is can we move into a new home together? It would certainly be cheaper than going to trial! Thanks!

Depends on the wording of the DVO. What orders were granted?
