SA Contact Lawyer Directly Regarding Property Settlement?

I've been going through a property settlement battle for the last 4 years. My ex keeps dragging things out and her lawyer doesn't reply to any of my lawyer's letters/emails. I'm sick of paying to chase things up.

Can someone please tell me if I can contact her lawyer direct?

If the other party is not responsive to negotiations stop mucking around and go straight to court. They have to respond to court action or face a default judgement.
