Hi,

Just wondering with regards to a retail shop tenancy agreement, is the lessor required to initial all pages of the agreement? Thank you in advance.

No. There's no legal requirement for that. I'm assuming you've carried that over from the 'initial every page' on the REIQ contracts? That's just something they've put in of their own accord. It's a constant pain in the ass having to get every page of the standard conditions initialed when they never change...

Hi Rob, it's signed on a REIQ Retail Shop Tenancy Agreement. None of the pages have been initialled by the seller. I'm just used to having to have everything initialled from sales contracts.

The form 'requires' it, but there's no legal compulsion to do so.
