Basically I was in a 4 car pile up car accident. However, I, the car in front of me and behind me were all stationary on the freeway. Huge 4x4 didn't see we had come to a stop a smashed into us like a sandwich at 100km/h.

Now they all have car insurance, I don't and am on learner drivers licence. I don't know what to do. Any help considered

Hi Jayex,

Legally, you are liable for damage caused to the car in front. However, the car behind you is liable for damage caused to you (including contribution to you for any money you paid to the car in front, as their damage was also caused by the car behind). Ultimately, it is the last car's responsibly (since they are the one that hit the car in front and started the domino effect).

Practically, I would just refer the car in front of you to the car behind you's insurer, or the last car's insurer and let the insurance companies sort it out.
