Following my neighbour's complaint about side fence council sent inspectors and now I received a building notice for front yard 600mm high retaining break wall.the options are to apply for permit or demolished it.
I called council before constructing the wall they only talked about the high of the fence not the materials, neither the landscaping person told me about needs to apply for the permit. I asked my neighbours ans many others property owners in my street and area they have the same wall they alao didn't know about permit neither they have one
What should I do what are likely outcomes in Vic Australia please
