The defendant as in the respondent to the APVO? ......... If the protected person (felt) in any way threatened or intimidated, you're stuffed.......who wouldn't feel intimidated by threats. Not a good look in any case.,

Assuming all the usual conditions on the order,ie, no threats, stalking, intimidation. .. no third parties acting on your behalf. Then it’s a clear breach I’d say

Side question, do you think walking up to me with a american staffordshire bull terrier and they say they are going to attack you with it amount to intimidation if they are not supposed to approach you?

Intimidation? I think any reasonable person would feel intimidated yes... Probably a breach to approach & talk to protected person anyway (depending on conditions listed on order)
