Hello
I have agreed orders in place with 50:50 shared custody with the kids mother
I need to move interstate with work to maintain my employment and very limited options of alternate employment in brisbane
What paths do I have with care arrangements as neither of us wish to be without kids

What paths do you have? Well, the first step always is to organise mediation with the other parent to try and negotiate a new parenting plan/consent orders that takes the relocation into account.

How old are the kids?

the only path is to come to an agreement on a new arrangement. This can just remain a parenting plan which means if things go wrong the current order of 50/50 still stands or you can just put it in and get new official consent orders.

you're the one who wants to move... But in making that choice you kinda have to accept that the ex will become primary carer of the kids
