Hi,
At our last AGM, we received a written nomination for president prior to the meeting but the Returning Officer called for nominations from the floor. However, our constitution states:
10 c. If no written nominations are received, nominations may be accepted from the floor of the meeting provided consent is given by the candidate.
I would like to know the validity of the vote between the 2 candidates, validity of the AGM and how we can rectify the error to suit all round.
Thank you
