At risk of sounding moronic (I'm no legal guru, hence why I'm asking) -

Is it illegal to post advertisements on Gumtree pertaining to the 'interest of renting _______ property' if I am not the current owner/leaser of the property, which in this case is a car park? If I do not specify the exact location of the car park but instead only the street name (to breed general interest for the renting of the car park at a set price) am I violating the law?

Thanks.

Are you trying to gauge interest in the car park before leasing it then renting it out? If so preface your ad with expression of interest. If not, I don't understand your ad.
