A will allows for all property to be sold and divided . One item is a house, one trustee has been going to the home and leaving it open deliberately.
The Police say they cannot charge him as he is a beneficiary. We have changed the locks so he will have to break in, anyone know if he can be charged with BnE?

Dear Jilian,

You just say the police says they can’t charge him for being a beneficiary, so the mere fact he has to break into something that he has an interest in land wouldn’t seem likely to change the police’s attitude toward this.

There is clearly more to the story. Share? Otherwise, seek legal advice. There are quite a number of civil options even if the police does not wish to be involved.

Good luck!
