Just a simple question. Are these Trust Account monies setup by Solicitors returned in full after legal invoices are paid? It was all to do with a claim on an estate which fell through and they are mediating out of court now back in Australia in order to deal with shared property with the Plaintiff and the Estate. This is now not going to court as was previously planned. Of course the legal invoices are far lower than the Trust Account monies. The Plaintiff has lost faith in the Solicitor and seems to think they will be taking all the $98,000 she has put into the Trust as well as the invoice payment. Can you please assure us that the Trust monies will be returned to her in full once the account has been paid for the legal costs? Thanks in anticipation. Heather

Funds held on trust have to be scrupulously accounted for, or solicitors put their right to practice in significant jeopardy. Of course any funds not subject to agreed expenses and fees must be returned.
