My friend who is 59 years old begins a long distance online relationship with a 28 years old lady boy from the Philippines. They met in person once and his trans g/f stayed for a month with him on a visitor visa.

On his records, he already sponsored his first wife from Fiji in 1994 and his second wife is 2005 from Thailand and both wives ended up divorce. He really wants to have another serious relationship with his trans g/f but he wonders if there is any chance to successfully sponsor his trans g/f again (his third time) as the immigration law limits only 2 sponsorship in a lifetime for partner visa/ de facto visa.

Currently, his trans g/f works in Papua New Guinea and travels to Australia to be with him on a visitor visa. They spend time at his house. No legitimate proof of living together to be met by immigration requirements at this stage but he introduced his g/f to his family members.

Do you want it to make it happen?
Or do you want to stop it happening?

You know, of course, that his "friend" is just using him
to get a visa to Australia for him/herself.

He told me he is serious and wants to know if there is anyway to get her here to be with him. They used to talked about going to NZ and doing the visa over there then used that visa to travel her/him to Australia later. This is when the gay marriage law was not passed yet. Now they gay marriage is legal in Australia. So Can the third time sponsor be possible? He is really madly in love with this person. This trans g.f is the whole new world for him.
