Hello,

I am writing an article about the steps needed to set up an anonymous identity and buy drugs on the web. Is there a illegality issue if I provide a disclaimer saying that this is not advice to buy drugs and it is a crime

Thank you.

This isn't my state or my area of law (I don't practise in criminal law).

However, even with a disclaimer you might find yourself charged with aiding and abetting under the Drug Misuse and Trafficking Act 1985.

Section 19 makes it and offence for a person to aid, abet, counsel, procure, solicit or incite the commission of an offence in NSW. Section 20 does the same for areas outside NSW.

The punishment can be the same as if you had committed the offence yourself.

The law is interesting. I studied accounting and now I'm interested in the law, but in aspects I think it does not give justice, but this is life! And the law is the law.

What I mean by "does not give justice" is that one time I videoed a driver go from the far right of the road to the far left - third lane (bus lane) of the road and it was a sharp turn, and it was a near miss accident as I was careful in my riding.

I went to police with the video showing the incident and the licence plate of the vehicle, and I was informed that nothing can be done unless there was an accident, this sucks!

You can write the article, but don't self-publish. Present it to media outlets if they want to take up the story or not...but keep in mind they may not care about your legal situation, so don't allow yourself to be used and then tossed aside for police prosecution!

The disclaimer is worthless.
No disclaimer will operate to protect you from prosecution.
