Yes, set for trial in May 2019

Be very careful here. You have different options about how to proceed and should discuss them with a family lawyer. Consent orders may be an alternative if there is any risk to you, keeping in mind the threshold for the granting of orders is so very low these days.

Does any know of any men's support groups for this type of issue

Agreed and thank you for the feedback, this is the same warning the duty lawyer gave me
I am not in a position to spend $,000's on legal fees and legal aid is proving difficult due to my business situation
There is no chance of consent orders given the ridiculous claims made (I know everyone says that)
Yes, the threshold is very low and I am a larger, loud man so it is easy to accept that I could be intimidating
However that contradicts everything I have ever said or done
I have a copy of all messages, emails etc and any "arguments" are very mild
I will have to rely on perjury (some on which can be proven without doubt), opposing hear say and blatant contradictions

Maybe so, but your question is not a legal question and this is a legal forum, not a social discussion board.

Have you tried Google? If you can't find what you're looking for in the following results, then I doubt what you are looking for exists.

queensland mens family support groups - Google Search

Thank you for the feedback
A lot of these seem a bit off track, as regards the network I feel I need, or would require attendance which is hard with 3 kids under foot

Read through the results. Some of them operate online, so it wouldn't hurt to contact them and see what they're about - even if it seems on the surface that they may not meet you needs.

If I've got this right, what you're looking for is basically people to talk to who are in a similar situation or have had similar experiences - and to me, that makes a lot of sense. I'm sure that some if those organisations can provide that, but you won't know until you contact them and find out. All it takes is an email or phone call. If you're not willing to at least do that, then maybe you're not ready to talk at all and you need to do some soul searching first.

No criticism here, just pointing out that you need to be willing if you want to get the best out it and in this situation, you have to make the first move - these services are not going to come to you.

I hope you find a suitable one, because I think what you are looking at doing is smart - nothing to do with legal aspects, but smart in a personal way. I actually find it admirable.

Good advice, thank you
I have been too overwhelmed with paperwork etc
I will now stop with that for a while and do better research

No worries mate. Most important thing is to keep the stress levels down and stay positive. Never forget the golden rule that anything is possible.

Best wishes to you.
