Yes, of course, no need to give me the moral lecture. In my case (and in my opinion, obviously), my children should never have been on the intervention order in the first place and indeed the intervention order was most likely used as a controlling tool, but that's another story for another time. There's no point debating details of whether it's in the best interests of the child though as this isn't really the place to do it.

No moral lecture intended. You asked for advice and I gave it based on recent experienced in the federal courts. Judges don’t like to see that you can’t follow an order. They also don’t like parents who have no insight into their own behaviour.

Right, but I had already taken your advice on board in the previous message and had agreed I would have to be careful so as to not breach the order.

Ok sounds like you think you know best so good luck.

That's not what I'm saying. I'm saying I took your first post as the advice that was intended, and specifically said that I would therefore have to be careful. You then warned me again not to post anything online and lectured me on what may or may not be in the best interests of my children. It just seemed to me to be a bit beyond the advice and experience I was asking for, and started to sound lecturing.

Ok. This is a forum where you posted a question, right? People have responded, myself included on recent experience. You can’t set parameters on the responses you are likely to receive, correct? Doing so would demonstrate controlling behaviour, yes?

We don’t always receive the answers we may want to hear. Sounds to me like a magistrate decided it was in the best interests of your children to not allow you to post pictures of them online. You’re complaining. Saying it’s ridiculous. Even so, just follow the order until you can have it amended! How is that hurting you? Suck it up, go through the motions, it’s a marathon in this system not a sprint. And the system sees stuff like this all the time. Better to be safe than sorry, the cost is too great wouldn’t you agree?!

Yes, I posted a question. You answered the question. I thanked you for your answer and said I will be careful about not breaching the order. Then you started moralising and lectured and I said no need for it. You responded by saying I was asking for it. As far as I'm concerned, I already received from you the answer to the question that I asked, and you continued to engage with me about things I did not ask for. I took issue with this continued engagement and you got defensive and here we are. You're free to say what you want, and I'm free to tell you to give it a rest, but is this really the most beneficial use of either of our time? Just go away. I got the answer I wanted from you, I thanked you for it and and now I'm done with this discussion between us.
