So um this is a story I heard from someone who works at this place that I won't mention, and it raises a lot of questions.

A senior at an office workplace was yelled at by a rude coworker several times.

One of the times it got so out of hand that he punched the coworker in the face and dealt severe marking injuries.

But the senior worker got out of it because "he warned the rude coworker three times."

Now how the heck does that work???

Weather or not it is a sackable offense is besides the point. Assault is a police matter, and i do believe an assault at work *must* be reported by the employer to authorities.

The only defense for punching someone is if you yourself thought you were about to be attacked, however, not necessarily easy to prove.
