Greetings,

My partner was charged with AVO and its been over a year the time period has been over. SHe has got a criminal record and it appears on the police check. It is really frustrating that she is a good student and wants to go ahead in life. She wants a better job. I want her's future to be good even though i am not with her right now. It was just a consequence of a heated argument which got escalated to a different level and in anger all these happened.. But thinking about all those now, i regret. I am overseas and cannot come to Australia now.
Therefore, Can i do something so that her name can be taken out from the criminal books?
Please help me.
Kind regards:

If it was an AVO it won't show on most police record checks, like the working with children check. It could stuff her chances of getting into the police. BUT an AVO is does not appear on a criminal history check
