As one of 6 beneficiaries of my mother's will, do I have the right to have a copy of her bank account from the time of her death?
Is the executor of will able to use her account at the time of her death to withdraw funds?
There are two executors of her will, both of them sisters. One sister took my mother's card at the time of her death, along with cash. She was previously Power of Attorney.
My understanding is that all accounts are frozen and the bank can issue a cheque for the funeral costs only. We have asked to see bank accounts from the day of her death but our requests are ignored.
