Hi, This might be a strange question but I would like to know of the sponsors obligations in regards to when making complaints about their club that their sponsoring engaging in criminal activities that one of the players was reported to the Police as they claim that they have no obligations to do anything and don't want to know about it as I have contacted Bendigo and Adelaide Bank's head office.
From speaking with the ombudsman I was advised sponsorship arrangements are government regulated and surely at the very least they should have some legal obligation of being informed about it and the matter to be consulted with the club their sponsoring.
I have a crime report number that was provided to them as evidence of a formal complaint made and a Police investigation initiated.
There are juniors that play for the club and in the competition and most disturbing of all juniors playing in senior teams, sporting clubs have a legal duty of care to protect the children, how can I make a complaint about the club as they are sweeping it under the carpet, almost immediately flicking me an email saying its closed including the cricket competition organisers, there must be a law against it. You can't have juniors playing with senior players engaging in criminal activities.
