Hi.

I am a single mum with 3 children who live with me. I have been financially responsible for everything, thus I am not in a financial position to pay for a lawyer myself. I am so involved with raising 3 kids myself that I cannot do it myself. I get very anxious and have PTSD from Domestic Violence and ongoing Family Violence.

This ongoing uncertainty for my children has been traumatic but I have had ongoing support and never given up on anything. I can't use legal aid lawyers as there is a conflict of interest.. I have had no luck with private lawyers funded by legal aid. They do minimal work as funding by legal aid is capped for each matter.

We have had on going family violence Intervention orders since 2011 and.there has been a number of notifications by professionals regarding concerns/disclosures /abuse since 2011.

I need the family court to investigate everything and put interventions in place that will protect innocent children.

Is anyone able to assist?

What exactly do you want?

I'm guessing the father of the kids is the 'abuser' and you have intervention orders to stop it. So what more do you want?

The father is the abuser and continues to use "mum doesn't let me see the kids" excuse to fool professionals who question me again and again about those allegations since 2011 but never put anything on file. Thus the father keeps using new staff in police or CP to target us since 2011.

I want it to stop. Only a court ordered document ensures professionals will put it on file. WilI I need a lawyer who's able to type up an affidavit pro bono?

Okay, first, you're not going to get a lawyer probono who is willing to help you. It simply doesn't work that way.

Second, asking repeatedly to see the kids is not abuse.

Third, you can't simply attain a 'court order document' with a snap of the fingers. Likewise, you can't commission a Court of law to 'investigate everything and make intervention orders to protect the children'. The way it works is that you tell the Court exactly what you want, and why you want it. The other party does the same. The Court then determines, based on the evidence provided by each party, what is the best outcome for the children.

So, again, what exactly do you want from your situation? What do you think is the best possible outcome for your situation?

I never said asking to see kids was abuse. Please stop being judgemental. All I am asking is suggestions.

There are a range of abuse concerns by professionals and it's inappropriate to discuss it with any stranger. I am not a victim being cross-examined. I am a parent asking for suggestions based on facts and what is stated.

Thanks

Your responses are already things I know. I said I have all evidence and need it typed up into an affidavit.

You seem to be quick to conclude your responses.

People come in here for assistance. 2 lawyers from interstate gave me this forum as they have had clients who got help.

Please do not respond to any of my posts. I find you have a very negative approach towards responding. I am sure you mean well, but at present my focus is not up to managing someone's egoistic responses over knowing family law.

Thanks

Well with all due respect but the other poster doesn't know what you understand or do not understand of the process. So when you ask for help and your response is "Your responses are already things I know." and "You seem to be quick to conclude your responses."

Hang on a minute. You're coming across a more than a little bit rude. Now you made your first post at 12.25pm and 4 minutes later you were indicating that you thought it took a bit too long for anyone to respond...

So do you have court orders at present? Do you have a parenting plan? What is it that you want? Do you want court orders that prevent dad from ever seeing the kids? Or something else?

Now if he has done something so bad that he should not see the kids, then that thing should have been investigated by the police and upon concluding their investigation he should have been charged and convicted. If that has not happened, then go to the police and ask them to investigate, but if they investigate and find no evidence, what then? Can he see his kids? .

When was the last time he saw the kids?

With all due respect, have a look around this forum and ask yourself who your two referring lawyers' clients would have had help from.

I feel your expectations from this forum are not entirely accurate to its purpose. The help provided on this forum comes in the form of guidance about the law, such as what the relevant statutes say and what the Court has ruled before. It does not come in the form of free legal advice or legal services, such as writing affidavits, filing documents and representing you in Court.

So, with that clarified, is there actually any help we can provide to you, or are you simply looking for a legal service?
