I need some help on the following:

I am renting a residential property and have recently realised that I had signed a commercial lease. Is there a mistake here?

Is it your principal place of residence (and has no other function),
or have you rented it to use for business - like GP doctors sometimes do?

Where is the property located? Is it located on a street of shops in a commercial area/property or is it primarily residential?
Does the agreement allow you to carry on a trade or business?
Do you believe the price is high for a residential lease? Commercial leases tend to be leased at higher rates than residential leases.
However, it may be a case where the lease is titled "commercial lease" but it is in effect a residential lease.
