My father who I hadn't seen for over 10 years died and there were 2 executors of his will. One of them has passed away and the other doesn't want anything to do with it. After 8 months trying to track down the executor that is alive only to have him refuse to be involved, the will has been passed on to the Victorian Supreme Court probate office. It's been almost 2 years now and I am trying to get something done about it. Trouble is, I am in qld and I'm unemployed. I don't have the money or the knowledge to apply to be administrator. Who do I go to for help?

Probate is something you can do your self. I'm not saying it is simple but if you have the internet and time(sounds like you have that) it should be doable.
You can get the executor to relinquish the position and apply for letters of administration.
I guess you've been here http://www.supremecourt.vic.gov.au/home/forms,+fees+and+services/wills+and+probate/
From what I've heard most probate offices are quite helpful to the public.
There may be some small fees for copys of wills etc.
